A “catalyst” is by definition something that causes a spark, that brings about change. Our mission is to be a spark in someone’s life in order for people to experience the amazing love of God.
No matter where you are in your faith journey or what you have been through in life, at Catalyst you will find a spark that leaves you feeling connected, loved and a genuine place to belong.
Whether it’s small groups, community events, classes or social gatherings, our goal is to provide plenty of outlets for connecting with others, cultivating a deeper understanding of your faith and providing opportunities for you to use your gifts to impact others around you.
“Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave - just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. “
On Sunday, August 25th, Catalyst was reminded that we have been “Created to Serve”. Read more about open opportunities or sign up to learn more from one of our ministry leaders by following the links below.
As a church, we are committed to coming alongside and celebrating believers looking to take the next step of declaring their faith for Christ through baptism. Contact info@CatalystPendleton.org for more information about our next baptism class and service.
Created for a Purpose
God has a definitive purpose for our lives, and He desires that we not only know Him but also His purposes for us. Many people ask central questions regarding life: Why am I here? Does my life matter? During this series both those questions will be addressed in specific ways. You will want to make certain you are a part of this time together.
We hope to see you at Catalyst at one of our two identical Sunday morning services, 9:00am and 10:45am!
Created to Serve
We exist to bring glory to God by making disciples through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, gospel-centered service and gospel-centered multiplication. Out of this, gospel-centered service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those in and outside the church. One of the ways we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities.
On Sunday, August 25th, as part of the Created for a Purpose sermon series, Catalyst members are invited to step out in faith and volunteer in one of our many open areas. If you can’t join us on the 25th or just weren’t quite ready to commit that day, please use the buttons to the right to explore the available opportunities and express your interest today.
